Health Protection Agency has announced that it recorded 118 new COVID-19 cases in the Maldives, on 27th of February 2021.
According to the figures released by the Public Health Agency, they have recorded 118 new COVID-19 cases in the Maldives as of 6 PM of 26th of February. This brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 19,597
The breakdown of the new cases are as follows:
-Malé area: 92
-Inhabited islands: 5
-Operational Resorts: 16
-Live aboard: 5
The total number of active cases stands at 2,397 with 118 currently being treated at designated COVID medical facilities . A total of 17,132 people have recovered from the virus so far.
Maldives has recorded 61 COVID-19 fatalities.
