After a small hiatus owing to the lockdown of the United Kingdom, British Airways has decided to restart its operations to the Maldives.
The airline did commence flights between London’s Heathrow Airport and Velana International Airport, starting from October 17th. However, the operations had to be put on a temporary halt as a result of the lockdown of the United Kingdom.
Since British Airways started its travels yesterday, a total of 250 people have traveled from the flight.
It has been decided that the airline would operate flights to the Maldives everyday, unlike the previous arrangement or 3 flights per week.
