Manta Air, a popular domestic carrier in Maldives has announced the arrival of its 3rd seaplane aircraft.
The planed arrived this evening at Velana International Airport, after a long journey from Canada. This is the third seaplane that the airline has brought in the course of the current year.
Speaking to “Voice”, an official of Manta Air said that their 4th seaplane is scheduled to arrive in Maldives on next Sunday.
Previously, the airline had announced that they will be starting their seaplane operations on the month of November. The airline hopes that the start of their seaplane operations would bring a major change to the seaplane industry of Maldives.
Seaplanes of Manta Air will operate on a schedule, giving customers the flexibility to be able to book tickets in advance.
Manta Air currently operates its ATR aircrafts to Kudahuvadhoo and Dharavandhoo.
