The Maldivian startup Payer has been invited as a visiting startup and will be participating at the Qatar Information Technology Conference & Exhibition (QITCOM) 2019.
The event is led by Qatar’s Ministry of Transport and Communication and will take place at the Qatar National Convention Center in Doha from 29 October until 01 November 2019.
Payer has been invited to participate in the event as the startup has been recognized as an innovative digital startup.
The QITCOM 2019, a platform which transcends into all areas of digital innovation and technology featuring over 90 speakers, 300 technology exhibitors, 100 startups and over 300 innovators and entrepreneurs.
The participants of the event will have the opportunity to showcase their contributions towards the advancement of technology, while also exemplifying how sustainable digitized environments will contribute to enhanced experiences for the current as well as future generations.
Payer has been invited to the Entrepreneurship Zone, which makes up as an integral component of the QITCOM 2019.
Under the Entrepreneurship Zone, five main activity areas will have its exhibitors and participants showcasing their products and services. These activity areas include; Startup Hub, CodeCamp, Make the Deal, IdeaCamp and Innovation Theatre.
Payer will have access to Startup-Investor Matchmaking that allows for high impact digital startups to connect with local, regional and even international investors. The event is the perfect platform where potential startups are evaluated for funding.
Apart from this, startups that are already funded can also explore prospects or leverage opportunities for discussing or meeting decision-makers that will help in their respective business growth.
